This is one of the harder invitations to get on the top 100 list so when the opportunity arose I jumped on a 6am Delta flight to Atlanta to play the track. Although the temperature almost hit 100, I was fortunate to keep my score below that (88). I can see the similarities between the beautiful course design of Augusta and that of Peach Tree. The pros in the golf shop explained to me that Bobby Jones built the very private and exclusive course after being frustrated with the 5+ hour rounds at East Lake. To this day, very few groups tee off each day here despite it being located so centrally in Atlanta. Here are some photos of the beautiful track:
