My friend Jason and I just finished a short trip to the Minneapolis area where we were fortunate to finagle our way onto the three top-100 courses in the area: Spring Hill, Hazeltine, and Interlachen.
Spring Hill is a very special place and should be moved up to the top 50 in the US in my opinion. It is a very private and quiet place, and the membership keeps their course in perfect condition. The sign from the road is barely noticeable and none of the holes are visible to the outside world. Having played Old Sandwich recently it sort of reminds me of that course, only in even better shape. The greens were flawless, bunkering perfect, etc.
If you can play this course, for sure, do-so.
