Trinity Forest

This 2014 Coore-Crenshaw design just outside of Dallas, TX seems destined for top 100 greatness. I was very happy to get the chance to play the course that will be hosting the Byron Nelson PGA tour event going forward. This links-style course will make a great venue for watching the pros (especially Spieth who is a member).

I think this is one of the most unique courses that exists when you consider the fact it is so close to a major metropolitan area. It is desolate and remote and very mellow, similar to a Prairie Dunes or a Ballyneal but 30 mins from DFW airport.

The clubhouse is modern and elegant and reflects the style of today perfectly in my opinion.

I am excited to see where the golf raters place Trinity Forest but for sure it is a top 100 course in the US and worthy of all the hype its getting.

On my second time playing I was paired with Jonas Woods the creative visionary behind the course. We rode golf surf boards and had a great day.
