Nestled into the western part of Fishers Island is a 9 hole course worth taking a stroll on for sure. The course dates back to 1907 and is the Island’s first club. A family place for sure, the course has no ambition to be a “top 100” course, but of the 9 holes on the small property many are as good as any you will find in golf.
The course stretches along the sea and has incredibly beautiful views (especially at sunset, when I played it).
The place is mellow, and I look forward to coming back some day to play with my friends and kids. It is a worth a drive down from the “big club” to see and play.
